With collaborators, Chris spearheaded the launch of the igloo regeneration fund, managed by Aviva Investors. This was described by the United Nations as “the world’s first responsible real estate fund”.

Now Chief Executive, Peter leads igloo’s £1bn programme of sustainable urban development and investment. With the support of the igloo senior management team and chair, Peter is responsible for igloo’s growth strategy, overseeing the successful delivery of over 30 national strategic projects.

Mark Hallett

Mark is responsible for igloo’s direct developments in Wales and the South West. Currently leading the Porth Teigr project, igloo’s joint venture with the Welsh Government for the regeneration of Roath Basin in Cardiff Bay, Mark is recognised for his impact delivering one of the most significant waterfront developments in the UK.

Alec joined igloo in 2007 after completing an MA in Property Development and Management at Nottingham Trent University. Having completed his professional training at igloo, Alec became a chartered planning and development surveyor in 2010.

Sylvia Hargreaves is Development Director for igloo and responsible for igloo’s developments in Manchester and the North West, including working on the Chrysalis Fund portfolio. Sylvia is a development surveyor with twenty years’ experience working with the public and the private sectors.

Rachel joined igloo in 2009 and is now igloo’s Customer Care Manager overseeing and developing the igloo customer journey. Rachel’s career started in a customer facing role with igloo as manager of the Derwent Business Centre, a 42,000 square foot multi tenanted building in Derby.

A respected chartered construction manager, Robert has over 30 years’ senior managerial experience in UK development, construction, civil engineering, housebuilding and mixed use urban regeneration areas.

Jon is leading the development and deployment of igloo’s UK custom build housing model. As project director for HomemadeHeartlands, Cornwall, the UK’s first government partnered custom build site, he has created a vision which is proving very popular with the local market and is now ready to be tested on further sites across the country.

John is CEO of Siglion, a partnership between Sunderland Council and Carillon Developments, managed by igloo. Siglion’s mission is to generate economic, social and environmental change in Sunderland through design led development. John brings with him vast experience of public-private partnerships.

John is a Project Director at igloo and performs a strategic role across a number of igloo projects in the North. Starting life as a labourer turned architect, John has traversed a range of project and development roles across a range of well-known strategic regeneration partnerships across the UK.

Lucie leads igloo’s asset management model working closely with the igloo finance team. As well as overseeing the day to day asset management processes, Lucie liaises with partners, team members and investors on a number of initiatives. Lucie leads the development of community funds including at Bermondsey Square.

Paul manages igloo’s assets in the North. Paul is responsible for igloo’s strategic asset management across the Siglion investment portfolio and The Malings in Newcastle. A qualified commercial chartered surveyor, Paul’s experiences span a decade working in the property industry across all sectors, both public and private.

Katie has led many large scale mixed use waterside projects in city centres across the North and London.

John joined igloo to lead the direction of the company’s investments across multiple major public private partnerships. Working with Carillion PLC, Aviva Investors, Sunderland and Nottingham City Councils and the Welsh Ministers, John directs the financial reporting models to run major long term multi party investments.

Ashley joined the team at igloo as a placement student whilst at Nottingham Trent University, subsequently graduating with a 1st class honours degree and taking on a permanent igloo team role the following year. Ashley supports the delivery of Blueprint partnership projects, including Trent Basin.

Gary is Development Direcctor for Glasgow BIGG Regeneration, a multi-site igloo partnership between Aviva investors and Scottish Canals. He is currently heading up the phased development of 73 low cost homes at Maryhill Locks and working with grant funding partners to masterplan and develop a 25 acre former Diageo distillery.
