James is a skilled construction manager handling all procurement, design and construction functions at igloo. He is a respected chartered construction manager, project manager and sustainability specialist, with almost 20 years experience in construction delivery and project management in commercial, heritage and charity sectors.
Grace has joined igloo’s Nottingham office as a placement student. She is currently studying for a Real Estate degree at Nottingham Trent University.
Lowri has over 18 years’ experience in the cultural and voluntary sectors in the North East. She is passionate about engaging and working with communities and young people to ensure their involvement in regeneration projects in their neighbourhoods.
Chris founded the igloo business in 2001 with the belief that value is created from sustainable approaches to regeneration. With collaborators, Chris spearheaded the launch of the igloo regeneration fund, managed by Aviva Investors. This was described by the United Nations as “the world’s first responsible real estate fund”.
Peter is a Development Director for igloo and a key figure in the Blueprint team, responsible for delivering and managing projects in Nottingham and the East Midlands. With over 20 years’ experience in the property development industry, Peter’s expertise spans planning, property development, regeneration, asset management, financial appraisal and funding.
Peter joined igloo as a development director in 2006. Now Chief Executive, Peter leads igloo’s £1bn programme of sustainable urban development and investment. With the support of the igloo senior management team and chair, Peter is responsible for igloo’s growth strategy, overseeing the successful funding and delivery of over 30 national strategic regeneration projects.
Nick is Vice Chair of igloo. Nick is leading on a number of igloo’s major design innovation partnerships, including innovations in the field of community energy and custom build.
Julie is the beating heart of igloo’s financial operations. With a wide range of skills and abilities, Julie’s exceptional reporting is fundamental to the strategic growth of the igloo business. Julie continually implements new systems and processes to support igloo’s agile growth strategy.
Mark has been the lead development director for igloo at our Porth Teigr project, igloo’s joint venture with the Welsh Government for the regeneration of Roath Basin in Cardiff Bay. Mark is recognised for his urban design impact delivering one of the most significant waterfront developments in the UK.
Rachel joined igloo in 2009 and is now igloo’s Sales and Customer Care Manager overseeing and developing the igloo customer journey. Rachel’s career started in a customer facing role with igloo as manager of the Derwent Business Centre, a 42,000 square foot multi tenanted building in Derby.
Robert leads the strategic operational delivery, procurement, design and construction management functions for igloo. A respected Chartered Construction Manager, surveyor, environmentalist and corporate construction surveyor, Robert has over 30 years’ senior managerial experience in UK development, construction, civil engineering, housebuilding and mixed use urban regeneration areas.
Sammir joined igloo in 2015 as an Investment Manager to work on the Blueprint portfolio and manage the investments of the Chrysalis Fund in the Liverpool City Region.
John joined igloo in 2006 and has been a key development director on some of our major projects. He is now the joint head of igloo Development Services, working out of igloo’s office in Clerkenwell Workshops, providing support to our nationwide development management team.
Kate joined igloo in October 2017. As a qualified chartered surveyor, Kate has gained comprehensive experience at national firms in fields of residential valuation, retail agency and investment management.
Honor is our Development Director delivering our flagship Leeds project, The Ironworks. A keen advocate for thorough consultation throughout the planning process, Honor takes an imaginative approach to engaging with communities.
Helen joined igloo in 2017 bringing 14 years experience of construction management across a range of community and residential schemes in the North of England.
John is the Creative Director for igloo where he applies design thinking into urban design that goes beyond the traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ approach, utilising consumer insight, experience design and brand strategy to develop a holistic approach to product definition.
David joined igloo as a Director in 2002. With over 30 years’ experience in the urban design, development, construction and facilities management industry, David leads on a number of igloo’s national key client and partner relationships.
Since joining igloo in 2007, Alice has operated as a central team figure, supporting the igloo management team to deliver its growth objectives. Alice has her finger on the pulse of igloo with a remit covering administration, communication, governance and team related matters.
Matthew is igloo’s Group Financial Controller. A chartered accountant with extensive industry experience, Matthew has been providing finance and acconts services to the property sector for over 10 years. He previously worked as a financial controller for Equity Solutions and Partners Limited, a business involved in private/public sector property joint ventures.
Kym heads up igloo Community Builders (iCB) which focuses on providing Development Management Services to communities to facilitate locally led regeneration. She is engaged with a range of vibrant and emerging community-led developments.
John is a Project Director at igloo and performs a strategic role across a number of igloo projects in the North. Starting life as a labourer turned architect, John has traversed a range of project and development roles across a range of well-known strategic regeneration partnerships across the UK.
Lucie is part of igloo’s finance team working within the igloo Development Services business unit.
She is an associate member of CIMA with 20 years experience in finance and asset management.
With over 25 years’ experience in regeneration, acquisitions and development management, Katie is well known for the successful delivery of nationally recognised strategic regeneration projects. Katie has led many large scale mixed use waterside projects in city centres across the North and London.
Sam is responsible for the leadership of the Blueprint team and she also oversees project delivery, expanding Blueprint’s reach across the wider Midlands region.
Ashley is a Development Manager who specialises in the delivery of both housing led regeneration projects and community led developments. He is also a member of the igloo Community Builders (iCB) team, providing development expertise to communities to create real change.
Gary is Development Director with responsibility for urban design and development delivery on Glasgow. Well known for his leadership ability, Gary is heading up the phased development of 73 low cost homes at Maryhill Locks for Bigg Regeneration.
Robert leads igloo’s FCA authorised investment management subsidiary, and manages the Chrysalis Fund. igloo Investment Management is pursuing regeneration partnerships, creative and digital office platforms and social investment strategies, as well as helping fund igloo development projects. The Chrysalis Fund finances property, regeneration and sustainability projects across the Liverpool City Region on behalf of its Combined Authority, targeting financial returns and economic growth.
