Robert leads igloo’s FCA authorised investment management subsidiary, and manages the Chrysalis Fund.

igloo Investment Management is pursuing regeneration partnerships, creative and digital office platforms and social investment strategies, as well as helping fund igloo development projects.

The Chrysalis Fund finances property, regeneration and sustainability projects across the Liverpool City Region on behalf of its Combined Authority, targeting financial returns and economic growth.

Prior to igloo, Robert was a Director and Fund Manager at Aviva Investors, with principal responsibility for a variety of both Continental European and UK closed ended Property funds, including both balanced and sector (and country) specialist vehicles. Latterly, Robert managed a number of UK residential oriented portfolios and also the igloo Regeneration fund.

Robert holds a BSc (HONS) in Urban Estate Management from Liverpool John Moores University, an MSc in Property Investment and Development from UMIST Manchester, the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) of the Chartered Financial Analysts Society (CFA) and is also an Associate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIarb). Robert also holds the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) CF30 Controlled Function Approved Person designation.
