Robert Knight

Robert provides expert guidance and advice to igloo on UK construction processes in a part-time capacity. In this role, he acts as an advisor to the Board and senior team on construction and regeneration-related matters, ensuring the business benefits from his extensive expertise, experience, industry knowledge and professional network.

Robert has been closely involved with igloo since joining the business in 2006, bringing with him a wealth of experience from previous roles at Mowlem and Crest Nicholson. He has a strong background in construction management, surveying, environmental practice and corporate construction surveying.

Previously serving in a chair position, Robert played a key role within the executive team, supporting business operations and overseeing the procurement and delivery of developments. Known for energising ambition and driving development excellence, his rigorous approach to project monitoring and review has contributed to numerous award-winning schemes.

His influence extends beyond igloo through active involvement in industry organisations including the UK Construction Clients Group, Constructing Excellence, The Strategic Forum for Construction, and the Bristol Constructing Excellence Club, where he has helped to lead and shape positive change across the construction sector.
