With several live projects, a strong pipeline, and funds raising or recently closed, igloo is on an exciting growth trajectory across the UK. To support this, we are looking for a highly capable and experienced Projects Director (Construction) to provide construction leadership across our 'Northern Triangle'. The successful candidate must be based within the Northern Triangle, with a visible presence in the North and a strong local network of contacts.

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will take responsibility for a mix of schemes at different stages of development, providing technical lead from inception through to delivery and exit, and helping to ensure projects remain on time, on budget and aligned with igloo’s values. A typical scheme is £50m in value comprising of residential led, mixed use regeneration, often including commercial workspace.

We are looking for someone with broad experience across residential, mixed use and commercial development, ideally with an emphasis on residential and the complexities of end tenants, purchasers, lettings and rentals. You will have ideally delivered complex place-based schemes and bring a genuine passion for regeneration and sustainability, with the confidence to turn opportunities into commercially attractive and responsible projects.

This is a hybrid role, with time spent on site across the Northern Triangle, and with clients. igloo’s head office is in Manchester, with hubs in Nottingham and Newcastle.
